Classes for Educators

Demystifying Firearms in the News - a Class for Educators.  April 5 from 9 am - 12 noon and April 6 from 1 pm to 4 pm

Our instructors Manny Cerdas and Angela Duncan a.k.a. GlockGal!, are both teachers.  They will introduce the firearms that have been in the news, explain how the different firearms work, what a high capacity magazine is, and what firearms can carry large rounds..  The educators will then learn how to load the firearms, shoot  them and understand their shooting capacity.

This workshop is to demystify and inform. The workshop, rentals and ammo are free.  If you cannot attend Saturday, we have the same workshop on Sunday.

On Saturday  April 5, Saturday Youth Safety and Shooting Class   Meet at the Range at 3 pm. to 4:30 p.m.  Kids will learn about gun safety and safe shooting.  This will also be practice for the competition the next Saturday, April 12.  $10 a kid includes rental of 22 rifle.  Shooters must be accompanied by a well behaved adult.

We have a new Facebook Like Page for youth.  It is for school age youth and their parents.  We will provide information about the competitions and activities for Massey's Rangers.

Sunday, April 6th is our twice a month Concealed Handgun Class.  This class meets the educational requirement for your CHL.  Meet at the range at 2 p.m.  You may bring a handgun (9mm and higher) to qualify or rent from us.  You will know the law at the end of this course.

We, of course will have our regular 22 Plinking and Bowling Pins Competitions.  Whew!

There is still plenty of room on the 9 ranges for shooters who just want to shoot alone or with friends or families and stuff themselves with brownies.
